PATCHWORK OF PARENTHOOD
May 17th, 2025
The annual Patchwork of Parenthood event celebrates and honors the diverse stories and experiences that make up the journey of parenthood. Join us for an evening of sharing that demonstrates the resiliency, wisdom, and tenacity that can be found in the histories of all parents.
2025 Storytellers
Amanda Blaine-Greené
Amanda taught 7th grade in Yarmouth until she moved to the West Coast to co-found a social change learning center and start a family. The failure of the learning center led her to discover how successful organizations work. The failure of one romantic partnership after another led her to learn how successful relationships thrive. Now, she has moved back to Maine where she is loving being married, mothering her ten-month-old baby, and helping women have thriving organizations and thriving relationships. Find her at amandablaine.com.
Erin Kirkpatrick
Erin has worked for several years in the MidCoast area as a postpartum doula, nurse and lactation consultant, and has a passion for caring for new mothers and babies. She herself is the mother of a four-year-old daughter, Hattie, whom she raises along with her husband Paul in Lisbon Falls. She loves reading, learning more to refine her skills, going out to eat, watching movie trailers, and encourages all new parents to see a therapist. She believes strongly in the power of story telling and is honored to be a part of the program.
Brittiny-Rae Perron
Brittiny-Rae Perron is an elementary educator who has taught in Tennessee, Rhode Island, and Maine. She served as the executive director and principal of Acadia Academy in Lewiston until the birth of her daughter. She now enjoys staying home with her 2 children, ages 1 and 3. She volunteers as the parent lead for Community Concepts weekly 0-5 play group. For fun, she enjoys gardening, playing board games with her husband, and going on adventures.

In her free time she enjoys traveling with her family and spending summers at her parents' camp in Western Maine.
Kate Tilas
Kate is a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and a friend. Maine is her home but exploring new cities and cultures is what brings her joy. She is always up for an adventure - from the top of a snowy mountain to pristine beaches; she will be your travel buddy. When she is not traveling, you can find her at home with a book in hand, planning her next craft, or working in the family orchard.
Crystal M Wiley Kramlich, BA, BSN, RN, CLC
Crystal’s greatest accomplishment is being a mom. She recognizes she is the best mom she can be because of the love and support of her husband, James, and the powerful network of family, friends, and dedicated healthcare professionals.
